Restore Hope 2025: Reaching More Women Than Ever
2025 has been a year of growth, connection, and hope at Restore Hope. Thanks to new programs and partnerships, we’re reaching more women experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC—and helping them take steps toward brighter futures.
Bringing Food and Connection to Harriet Tubman Women’s Shelter
Every month, we bring bagged lunches directly to the shelter, where up to 175 women stay each night. Many residents face barriers to getting meals or visiting soup kitchens. Beyond filling stomachs, these events give us the chance to connect personally with women, hear their stories, and introduce them to additional programs.
So far this year:
-
794 lunches distributed
-
48 one-on-one conversations with residents
Fun, Safe Spaces at N Street Village
Through a new partnership with N Street Village, one of the largest service providers for women in DC, we’re hosting monthly events that are all about connection, fun, and relaxation. From board games to bingo, these gatherings are helping women feel seen, supported, and part of a community.

Impact so far:
-
37 women attended events
-
Several participants joined our Mentorship Program
Mentorship That Makes a Difference
Our Mentorship Program continues to be the heart of Restore Hope. Each participant receives one-on-one guidance as she works toward her goals—whether that’s getting ID, finding work, applying for disability assistance, or securing permanent housing.
Currently, six women are actively pursuing life-changing goals with the support of a mentor.
2025 is just the beginning. With your support, we’re reaching more women, growing stronger programs, and helping women take meaningful steps toward hope and stability.
